It is a really good place to share with family and friends. My kids had a good fun time and good for beginners .
The staff in the restaurant up stairs were friendly and kind and The pull pork sandwich taste good also the tequila shots jaja.
I visited for the first time ever today with my 2 young sons who are in love with skiing. Today one of the lift operators shouted at my 10 year old son as he was struggling a moment getting into position for the lift. Rather than slowing the chair, he continued to shout at him and make some vague threat about it being the "second time"...which it was not. Since there are 3 of us, my 10 year old has to ride the lift on his own, which he is very proficient at but after being off for the summer and having to adjust to their different lifts, he was a little nervous today. My son was ashamed and in tears afterward since he was doing his best and didn't even cause anything to stop, which was our final and lasting impression from our first visit today.
Their staff must do better - shouting at rather than helping a young skier is unacceptable. After many rounds of lessons at Sunburst, we've never has this type of poor treatment, ever. The hill itself and facilities are fantastic, which makes this that much more disappointing. I can't recommend this is as a family friendly hill after our experience. I'm not sure we'll be returning.
Do you charge parents for walking bunny hill or not? You can find way more affordable options at other hills if you are looking to teach your children to ski. I was quoted over the phone to teach my daughter to ski 37$ for rental and bunny hill and that I could walk along with her for free. I get there and they charge me $73.85 when I didn’t even have skis, I just wanted to ride the magic carpet and walk along the bunny hill. I am going to go to alpine next time it’s a longer drive but my sisters were not charged to walk the bunny hill/use the magic carpet to teach. I drove 45 mins and felt like I was price gouged.
Ski hill located in the Kettle moraine area with easy access from Interstate 41. Scenic views. Chair and rope lifts. Plenty of parking. Pro shop sells skis, boots, accessories and a variety of ski clothing and souvenirs. Restaurant and bar on site. Ski lessons available. A "bunny hill" is available for those new to the sport. Snow cannons to make snow. It was an excellent experience for a newbie.
This place is nothing fancy but super chill and good for beginners. There are also some pretty cool obstacles for if you are feeling more daring! There are lots of rope toes, ski lifts, and something they call the magic carpet. The resturant upstairs is AMAZING. the food is nicely priced and quality. I had so much fun!
Had a blast with my daughter. Great place for young skiers that are advancing quickly! Lots of fun runs on both sides of the hill. Wish the food options were a little better. My daughter can’t wait to go again!
My brother and I have the Indy pass, and this place is included. They were having issues with Indy, something about a waiver but the email to sign it was never sent. The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and kind and got it worked out with us despite the indy pass not working correctly.
Probably the best ski hill in southeastern Wisconsin. Food is good, staff is amazing, and they ensure that guests are comfortable and well cared for. Highly recommend Little Switz.
